Hey folks, ready to shake off those winter blues? Bring your horse and come join me this winter for an unforgettable learning experience designed to make you and your horse handier while having a blast!
Cowboy Campus University is hosting three Collaborative Horsemanship & Cow-Work Clinics at Thorlaksons Feedyards Inc. Arena, just outside Airdrie, Alberta. Whether you're looking to sharpen your skills or introduce your horse to cow work, this is the perfect opportunity to connect, learn, and grow.
Here are the clinic dates:
January 4th - 5th
February 1st - 2nd
March 1st - 2nd
Clinic Overview:We’ll start each day focusing on collaborative horsemanship—getting your horse soft, willing, and responsive while building trust and respect. Once the foundation is set, we’ll dive into the excitement of cow work, introducing or refining cattle handling and cutting skills. These clinics are ideal for all levels of riders and disciplines, from beginners to seasoned pros. Young rope and ranch horses will especially benefit from this experience.
You’ll leave with tools to improve your partnership, a stronger connection with your horse, and the confidence to tackle new challenges in and out of the arena.
Small Groups, Big Impact:I keep groups small (5-10 riders per session) to ensure everyone gets personalized support and coaching. Spaces fill quickly, so claim your spot early! Plus, those who attend all three weekends will receive a discount on the third clinic.

The Details:
Pricing:
$315–$525 per weekend (GST included). Come for one day or two. Receive a better price on the two day clinic, but we understand not everyone can commit to two days. If you're thinking about joining us for a clinic, you’re welcome to come for one or both days! Saturday is focused on horsemanship, which is required for anyone wanting to participate in Sunday's cattle work. Our approach to working cattle is based on low-stress livestock handling, and it’s essential that everyone has the foundational horsemanship skills before stepping into that environment. This ensures that cattle are handled with respect and care, and that the skills you develop truly benefit both you and your horse. If you're only able to attend one day, Saturday’s horsemanship is the perfect choice to get started!
The clinic will start at 9 and run until 5. With a 30 minute break from 12-12:30
10% discount on the third clinic for attending all three weekends—or register for all three upfront and save 10% on the total cost.
